Il libro si conclude con due argomenti, di interesse meno recente ma che ha indubbiamente creato molte preoccupazioni qualche anno fa, le malattie da Prioni ed ed uno di attualità come la malattia da covid 19 e l'altro.Numerosi sono i Colleghi che ci hanno lasciato lavorando con impegno e dedizione in una situazione in cui la protezione offerta dal vaccino ancora non era stata sviluppata.Forse l'unica vera eredità culturale medica che deriva da questa situazione sta proprio nella riscoperta di quanto siano pericolose le malattie infettive e di quanto la loro conoscenza permetta di "riconoscere quello che si sa". Speriamo che il nostro lavoro possa risultare utile nel lavoro quotidiano.
