Eco-colordoppler. Manuale didattico di eco-colordoppler ed ecocardiografia

Matthias Hofer

editore: Verduci

pagine: 149

Quali docenti abbiamo raccolto l’adesione dei colleghi Franca Bergfelder, Jonathan Brück, Klemens Freitag, Ira Gabor, Arnd Giese, Fabian Girke, Maike Hüssmann, Anne Jäckel, Kai Jannusch, Kathrin Klein, Nicole Majewski, Alice e Ole Martin, Ralf Rulands, Stefan Schmidt, Thomas Schmidt, Isabelle Stetter, Christian Weigel, Daniel Weiss e Björn Wieland.

Eco-color doppler. Applicazione clinica

Applicazione clinica

Myron A. Pozniak, Paul L. Allan

editore: Edra Masson

pagine: 380

Neurosonological Evaluation of Cerebral Venous Outflow

An Ultrasound Atlas

Giovanni Malferrari, Marialuisa Zedde
e altri

editore: Springer Verlag

pagine: 150

Although, within neurosonology, study of both the extracranial and the intracranial circulation began at least 15 years ago, it is only in recent years that ultrasound evaluation of cerebral veins and cerebral venous hemodynamics has attracted wider attention. Nevertheless, the huge variability in venous outflow pathways in normal subjects means that the potential usefulness of this examination is still often neglected. This atlas provides concise descriptions of the main normal and pathological ultrasound features of the cerebral venous circulation for neurosonologists and clinicians. It is designed as a practical tool that will be of assistance in everyday practice in the ultrasound lab and will improve the knowledge of sonologists and the reliability of venous ultrasound studies. The multimedia format, with detailed images, explanatory videos, and short, targeted descriptions, ensures that information is clearly conveyed and that users will become fully acquainted with the variability of normal findings of venous examinations. The atlas will be of value both to trainees in this field of ultrasound and to neurosonologists who are beginning to perform venous examinations in addition to arterial extra- and intracranial examinations.

Cerebral Angiography

Edoardo Boccardi, Gianni Boris Bradac

editore: Springer-Verlag Berlin and Heidelberg GmbH & Co. K

pagine: 327

"Cerebral Angiography" is a comprehensive and well-illustrated guide to the diagnostic use of cerebral angiography. The first part of the book depicts in detail the normal appearance of the cerebral vessels on angiographic studies. Sound knowledge of this normal vascular anatomy and clinical function is vital for correct interpretation of the clinical significance of the pathological processes addressed in the second part of the book. The latter include vascular abnormalities, including angiomas, fistulas, and aneurysms; atherosclerotic and non-atherosclerotic stenosis and occlusion of the cerebral vessels; and, venous thrombosis. In each case, both typical and atypical appearances are presented. While the emphasis throughout is on the diagnostic value of cerebral angiography, a number of examples of endovascular treatment are also included to highlight the evolving possibilities of therapy and the role of cerebral angiography in treatment selection.
