Work-related disability is an increasingly important issue to organizations, in terms of cost, competitiveness, and social and ethical issues. Changes in the nature of disability arising from the evolution of work calls for a new approach to this understudied topic. Il D.Lgs. 4 febbraio 2000 n. 40 ha istituito la nuova figura del consulente per la sicurezza dei trasporti di merci pericolose, che dovrà essere introdotta nell'organigramma di tutte le aziende che in conto proprio o per conto terzi depositano, movimentano, trasportano merci pericolose, assumendo il ruolo di primo verificatore ed attuatore della normativa in tema di trasporto di merci pericolose.
