Il testo, che rappresenta la posizione ufficiale della Federazione Italiana delle Società di Agopuntura (FISA), risponde ai mille quesiti che circondano l’agopuntura e la sua pratica, ai quali gli stessi agopuntori molte spesso non sanno rispondere con la dovuta chiarezza. Non ha scopi didattici ma solo informativi, contiene studi e documenti che stabiliscono quali siano i limiti e i campi d’azione di questa medicina.
