Le ultime due sezioni, relative alle neoplasie alle urgenze ed emergenze, forniscono un inquadramento mirato dei quadri patologici classificati rispettivamente in base al distretto anatomico interessato e alla tipologia d'urgenza propria della manifestazione. Merita una particolare considerazione l'insistenza alla cautela più volte richiamata da Balbi; le soluzioni impiantabili devono essere, infatti, sempre precedute da trattamenti più convenzionali.
